There you were, a daring adventurer with a bow in hand, navigating ancient ruins uncovering hidden treasures in the jungle. Trekking along hidden pathways, the thrill of discovery humming in your veins, and suddenly…

BEEP BEEP BEEP. Yanked by the hair back into reality by that cruel alarm. Now you’re just lying there, in your room, no, your disappointingly comfortable room, the thrill of the unknown sailing away like a pirate ship with it’s untold stories into the thick grey fog beyond.

Going back to sleep won’t bring the dream ship back. But guess what? Who says adventure can only exist in our dreams? Good thing you woke up, ’cause now you get to have all that fun in real life!

At Fireclub we bring that fire for adventure your soul has been yearning for. Every week, you’ll get to dive into an ocean of thrilling experiences that most people around the world would only dream of! Get ready to transform the everyday ordinary into a galaxy of extraordinary with us! With so many uniquely fun activities to ignite your passion for fun, you’ll be left breathless for more.

Archery Tag

You know how the Hunger Games people had that spooky technology to teleport stuff into the arena? Well lucky you – one night, you were reading the book in bed, and all of a sudden, they teleported you into the book, into the Hunger Games. Where else do you think they get new contestants to replace the “expired” ones?

Armed with a bow and some arrows, you’ll fight the other players to the death, with the promise of escaping the book world and entering back home…

Some of the players you recognize from real life, so you might team up with them to outsmart the enemy. Or not. Will you betray them before they betray you? These arrows shoot FAR, so take cover behind trees and barriers from incoming fire!

Campfire

For all the things you can’t say at work & school, or even… everyday life – the campfire welcomes shenanigans from the farthest reaches of the universe with warm unfiltered flames…

Who says it’s just marshmallows, gummy bears, corn, and other delicious snacks we’re cookin up over the fire? Nah, we’re gonna cook up the most ridiculous conversations too, even the aliens in their UFOs above will be scratching their heads (do they even have fingernails?) Stuff that the everyday you is probably too polite to say in “normal life”. But the real you? They’re so over that sh-t. Dive right into some totally out-there campfire talk that would “normally” cause “normal” people to spontaneously combust.

Laser tag

So we went a little crazy with our campfire shenanigans and said some stupid stuff that really pissed off the aliens that were listening in, in their UFOs above. Do you remember what we said? ‘Cause I sure as hell don’t. The UFOs show up angrily out of nowhere, and mayhem erupts. Blaster fire lights up the night from all directions and now we’re under attack!

Don’t just stand around RETREAT TO THE FOREST! And here take a space gun! Space gun? That’s right, we’re prepared for any adventure. Hit this button to switch between 4 different laser weapons. Team up and blast the aliens from super far away in the forest at night, in the name of free speech! 

Anything can happen when you’re rolling with us. We weren’t kidding.

Gel Blaster Battles

Wake up! Donald Trump wasn’t kidding either. He has followed through on his threat and ordered the invasion of Canada! So grab your guns people we’re goin to war for Muther Canada! 

Girls, this ain’t the 1500s anymore, the days of leaving all the dangerous fun to us boys is over. Just no fraternizing with the enemy, got it?! When the Americans and their dollar outnumber us 10 to 1, we need BOTH halves of the population to grab a gun – every warrior counts in our fight for FREEDOM!

Hide behind trees, dive for cover, strategize with teammates, take aim and fire at the enemy. Face choices like: should I go disable the bomb right now? Or should I wait for my teammates to go together? Tick Tock the bomb’s a ticking so put your brains and guns together quick before it goes off!

Night Hiking

See that plant hiding behind the fern? You eat it, you’ll get superpowers. Or you’ll turn into one of them. Well? Feelin’ brave? Since when was exploring the outdoors this wild? We rarely ever get to go on field trips as kids, but now we can do whatever we want at night, right?

Explore the great outdoors and trek through Vancouver’s massive trails & forests.  Where’s Frank? Did he eat the plant? If you don’t stick with the group you might end up like him.

Remember that friend? You two could be at the most mundane of places, like the bus stop, but as long as she or he was there, things would get… chaotically fun. It wasn’t “just a bus stop” anymore!

Well guess who they got their powers from? Us, obviously.

See that poor patch of grass over there? Had nothing more than dogs merely walking over it, and it wants to experience something more. Well, thanks to us it gets to be a Gel Blaster Warzone tomorrow.

That dull, grey patch of sand in front of the lake? That’s our next campfire cookout. That tired forest? The trees are dying for something out of the ordinary – like no kidding, they just see dog walkers all day! So we’re playing Capture the Flag with glowsticks with them at night!

Sometimes you look around and can’t help but notice: “Where’d all the other young people go?” Well they’re all right here. Obviously.

Remember people being like… the same age as you? The silly jokes that landed instantly? That comfortable chaos? The freedom to truly be yourself around other young people that get it. Because acting “mature” around “mature” people who simply can’t get it, gets kinda tiring. In a world where we find ourselves around people easily twice our age – isn’t this just the most liberating thing? And we’re here to bring all that good stuff back! So don’t grow up just yet!

What schedule?

Remember less pressure? Sunny day, knock on the door and suddenly you and your friends are off in the wild doing something awesome! And it happened simply because the weather was nice and you just felt like it?

Let’s be real – why does having fun have to be such a big deal, with schedules and planning and working around everyone’s responsibilities? Oh and don’t get me started about the weather around here, like, if all that isn’t enough of a mind maze to get lost in…

We’re all about that spontaneous vibe. We love just doing something on a whim, just because we felt like it. If the weather’s great tomorrow, or the day after, we’ll send out a text invite. Be ready to pull up and experience the kind of joy that only comes with it being freely unplanned!

And since you journeyed this far along the trek, we’re guessing you’re probably fun enough to join our crew – so here’s your chance to pounce on our invite list below and get invited by text to all the wild stuff we’re doing in Vancouver! Ages 18-29, Canadian numbers only.

Text invites

You’ll get all our event invites sent straight to your phone by simple, old-school text. When something fun is happening, just open the text, grab your ticket online, and come join the adventure!

Simple. Spontaneous.

If the sun’s gonna be out tomorrow or the day after, and we’re feelin’ it, we’ll make awesome happen that evening and send a text to everyone for some spontaneous fun! 

When?

You’ll usually get a text about our fun stuff just a day or two before, so we can make sure it’s actually going to be nice out ☀️, and the sun won’t bail on us. Multiple days a week in the evening.

Where?

We mostly plan our fun around Vancouver and Burnaby – that way it’s just as central and easy for everyone to get to, no matter where you are in the Greater Vancouver area.

Pricing

Activities are usually $10-$25 +tax, depending on how epic it is!

 Waiver & Release

Completion of this Release and Indemnity (this “Release”) is mandatory prior to participation in the Activities (as defined below).

To: Firecamp (“BB”) and its officers, representatives, agents, heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Agents”).

I the undersigned, for myself and/or on behalf of each child or ward of whom I am parent or guardian of, or whom I am otherwise responsible, as the case may be, as detailed and completed below (collectively, the “Participants”), agree as a precondition to participation in all current and future events and activities organized and conducted by BB and the Agents, as further described in BB’s website (collectively, the “Activities”), and in consideration of BB for organizing and conducting the Activities and BB allowing the Participants to participate in the same, and other good and valuable consideration (the receipt and sufficiency which is hereby acknowledged), agree as follows:

  1. The Participants are strictly bound by the terms of this Release;
  2. The Participants acknowledge the risks involved in participating in the Activities, and accept that any such participation is wholly at their own risk and assume the risk of any and all injury and/or damage that they may suffer as a result, inclusive of any injury or damage caused by any negligence of BB of the Agents, whether passive or active. The Participants understand and acknowledge that the Activities may involve strenuous physical or mental activity and the Participants may be injured or injure a third party as a result of such participation. The Participants agree that they are voluntarily participating in the Activities, any may elect not to perform any portion of the Activities. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the inherent risks include but are not limited to:
  • Being struck with projectiles and other objects;
  • Impact with equipment, obstructions, walls, trees, roots, rocks, and the ground;
  • Contact or impact with other participants, spectators, officials, any of the Agents, or other people present on the site;
  • Contracting a bacterial or viral infection and/or
  • Dehydration;
  1. The Participants have read, fully understand and agree to abide by the Rules, Code of Conduct, Recommendations, and Policies fully described in BB’s website (collectively, the “Rules”) in relation to BB’s operation of the Activities and acknowledge that BB’s agreement to allow the Participants to participate in the Activities is on condition that the Participants strictly comply with the Rules. The Participants further acknowledge and confirm that the Rules are for the safety of the Participants, and BB and the Agents reserve the right to restrict or remove the Participants from participation in any of the Activities, temporarily or permanently, without compensation or refund, if the Participants fail to comply with the same;
  2. All equipment provided by BB for use in connection with the Activities must be returned to BB at the end of each day’s activities undamaged, reasonable fair wear and tear excepted. The Participants further understand that if any equipment is not returned as aforesaid, BB will invoice the Participants for the full amount of the replacement or repair cost of such equipment, and the Participant authorizes BB to charge any payment method that the Participant has previously provided to BB for such costs.
  3. The Participant further agrees that they have notified BB of any pre-existing condition that might affect their ability, or that of any child or ward, to perform the Activities, and shall notify BB of any material medical development that could reasonably be expected to affect any such party’s safety while participating in the Activities.
  4. Bringing personal property for use at the Activities may result in damage or theft to the same and the Participants agree that BB is not responsible for any loss, damage, and/or stolen property belonging to any of the Participants;
  5. Each of the Participants agrees to release and forever discharge BB and the Agents from any and all manner of claims, actions, causes of action, suits, proceedings, demands, damages, judgements of whatever nature and kind and howsoever arising, that any of the Participants, their respective heirs, successors, assigns, and personal representatives hereafter can, shall or may have in the future, against BB and/or the Agents, in relation to the Activities any use of BB’s equipment or business premises, at any time, including where such damages arose out of the negligence of BB or any of the Agents, whether active or passive;
  6. The Participants jointly and severally agree to indemnify and save harmless BB and their heirs, successors, personal representatives and assigns, of and from any and all manner of claims, actions, causes of action, suits, proceedings, demands, damages, interest, costs, expenses, and legal costs on a full indemnity basis of whatever nature and kind and howsoever arising, which BB may suffer or incur as a result of or arising in connection with the Participants’ participation in the Activities, inclusive of any claims brought for any child or ward of the Participants;
  7. The Participants consent to BB’s creation and publication of photographs and videos of the Participants in the course of participation in the Activities, which BB may use (collectively the “Media”), and the Participants grant to BB a worldwide, royalty free license to use the Participant’s appearance likeness with respect to such Media for any for advertising, promotional and marketing purposes.
  8. The Participants also agree to receive marketing, promotional and related communication regarding the Activities to their contact information below, and they can unsubscribe anytime through the instructions provided;
  9. The Participants hereby acknowledge and agree that BB is making no representation or guarantee of any specific result from the Participant’s participation in the Activities.
  10. This Release shall be binding on and enure to the parties hereof and their respective heirs, successors, assigns, and personal representatives;
  11. If any provision of this Release is determined at any time by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, such provision or part thereof will be severable from this Release and the remainder of this Release will be construed as if such invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision or part thereof had been deleted herefrom; and
  12. This Release may be executed and delivered by facsimile or other means of electronic communication producing a printed copy (“Electronic Communication”) and this Release will be deemed to have been effectively executed and delivered as at the date of transmission via Electronic Communication.
  13. The Participant hereby agrees and acknowledge that you have carefully read and reviewed this Agreement, fully understands that it is a release of liability, The Participants expressly acknowledge and agree that by executing this waiver and release, they are giving up any right to bring a legal action or assert a claim against BB and the Agents for any negligence, or for any defective product used by the Participants in the course of participating in the Activities. Each Participant has read and voluntarily signed the waiver and release and further agree that no oral representations, statements or inducement apart from the foregoing written agreement have been made.
